Avoid Muggles but Be Careful!
Comment (0)
So the other day Brewster and I decided we would head out to do some replenishing of one of our caches. Now I've been warned about muggles and how to be careful that you are not muggled. As this was one of our first caches, it was not hidden in the best of spots for avoiding such people. I was hoping that the time of day would help but as we pulled into the parking lot that hope bubble was burst. There were people and dogs everywhere. So Brewster and I walked around and mingled a bit waiting for the crowd to die down. After about a half and hour or so it seemed the right time to strike and replenish the cache so off we go to nonchalantly step off the path to where the cache is hidden. Well it was not such a smooth step off the path as my eyes were looking for muggles and not at the ground. Big mistake. Out from under me my feet go and down I go on the ground while having a branch take out the side of my face. Well if your dog is anything like mine, if you are on their level it's playtime. So trying to get up and act as if nothing happened quickly was not an option. Luckily after all this I was not muggled, but I was muddied and a small muscle pull later cache replenished and on the way home. So get out there and dog cache but remember, look left for muggles, look right for muggles  and then look down for ice or whatever may trip you up.
